PE Global Recruitment are currently working with Europe's leading data centre delivery partner to recruit an MEP Project Lead to join the team in Milan. This is a tempo pieno, permanent opportunity. The Company: This organisation is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in the sector. They are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects in 7 different European Countries, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of Mechanical and Electrical EngineersProposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completionDisplay commercial astutenessMonitor construction,



regarding quality of workmanship and materialsCoordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate informationCheck and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely mannerEstablish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project teamOversee highest quality of health and safetyRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant areaStrong knowledge of procurementExperience in scheduling, programming, and sequencingExperience in effectively leading MEP teams is essentialExperience in the delivery in Data Centre MEP projectsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
