Deal equipment has been used in the construction of over 5.9 million sqm of decks all over the world with Deal's parent company executing directly roughly 2.5 million sqm of these.
Deal provides services that range from conceptual and detailed design of pre-fabrication and erection systems, to the design and supply of specialised equipment such as launching trusses, straddle carriers, gantry cranes, casting machines as well as other custom lifting, moving and casting devices.
/pp Website /pp About the Role /pp To provide technical guidance for the installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of specialized machinery and equipment used in civil construction projects, ensuring reliable equipment performance and effective customer support throughout the equipment lifecycle.
The role acts as a technical link between the Engineering home office, customers, project teams, and site personnel, supporting the successful deployment and operation of equipment at construction sites and contributing to the continuous improvement of products and field service activities.
/pp Responsibilities /pp Equipment Installation and Commissioning /pulli Perform functional checks and verify the correct operation of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and control systems.
/lili Support the integration and testing of equipment control and monitoring systems.
/lili Identify and resolve technical issues arising during installation and commissioning.
/li /ulp After-Sales Technical Support /pulli Provide technical assistance to customers and site teams during equipment operation.
/lili Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and control-system issues.
/lili Analyse equipment failures and identify the root causes of technical problems.
/lili Recommend and implement corrective actions and repairs.
/lili Support warranty-related technical investigations and interventions.
/li /ulp Site Operations Support /pulli Monitor equipment performance and identify potential technical problems before they lead to failures or downtime.
/lili Support equipment maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and repairs.
/lili Assist in the management of spare parts and technical materials required for field interventions.
/li /ulp Customer Training /pulli Support the training of customers and operators on the correct use, operation, and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment.
/li /ulp Technical Documentation and Reporting /pulli Prepare commissioning reports, service reports, intervention reports, and technical documentation.
/lili Record technical issues, equipment failures, corrective actions, and maintenance activities.
/lili Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Development teams regarding recurring technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
/lili Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and field interventions.
/li /ulp Continuous Improvement /pulli Contribute to the identification of recurring technical issues and propose improvements to equipment design, reliability, and maintainability.
/lili Provide practical feedback from construction sites to Engineering, Production, and After Sales teams.
/lili Support the development and improvement of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
/lili Contribute to lessons-learned activities following commissioning and field operations.
/li /ulp Qualifications /pulli At least 4-5 years of work experience /lili Technical high school diploma or engineering degree (core knowledge: Electromechanics) /lili Technical expertise in machinery and equipment, preferably used in civil construction /lili Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills /lili Excellent communication and interpersonal skills /lili Good English knowledge /lili Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance /li /ulp Position report to the head of engineering.
Activities are mainly performed at our offices in Cargnacco (Udine), with occasional site missions at world wide level.
/pp Pay range and compensation package /pp Annual base salary from 40,000€ to 50,000€ based on experience and qualifications.
Plus assignment allowances when on mission.
