pbProcurement Purchasing Officer opportunity – European Space Agency /b /ppLocation: ESTEC, Noordwijk (Netherlands) – ESRIN, Frascati (Italy) – ESAC, Madrid (Spain) | Positions: 6 - 8 /ppbr/ppbOverview: /b /ppOctagon Professionals International is recruiting six to eight Procurement Purchasing Officers to provide end-to-end purchasing support for ESA's Purchase Office Support Service.
Each Officer independently handles the full Purchase Order process, in line with the ESA Statement of Work and Tender Conditions.

/ppbr/ppbRole Responsibilities: /b /pulliAnalyse Purchase Requests and select the appropriate procurement route.
/liliPrepare Requests for Quotation and communicate with suppliers.
/liliEvaluate quotations and prepare Purchase Orders.
/liliSupport commercial negotiations and maintain procurement documentation.
/liliProvide procurement advice to ESA customers.
/liliContribute to the harmonisation of procurement practices across ESA establishments.
/li /ulpbr/ppbEssential Skills Experieence: /b /pulliDegree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent.
/liliMinimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
/liliAbility to independently manage the complete Purchase Order process.
/liliExperience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
/liliStrong organisational and communication skills; fluent English.
/li /ulpbr/ppbDesirable Skills Experience: /b /pulliExperience within ESA or a comparable international organisation.
/liliProfessional procurement qualification, or working towards one (e.g. CIPS).
/liliExperience across multiple procurement categories.
/liliAdditional European language skills.
