pThis role is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based at our Porcari, Lucca site. /ph3Purpose of the Job /h3pThe Quality Engineer is a key member of the Quality Department, facilitating growth and ensuring robust quality controls and activities across the Rotork Lucca site. /ph3Key Responsibilities and Outcomes /h3ulliQMS Maintenance: Developing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures and policies. /liliAuditing Compliance: Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO TS) and regulations. /liliCorrective Actions (CAPA): Identifying, analyzing, and investigating system deficiencies to implement corrective and preventive actions. /liliDocumentation Control: Managing quality documentation, records, and material certifications. /liliATEX, PED, IECEX, Directive 2006/42/EC o 2006/42/CE expert /li /ulh3Main Activities /h3ulliMain interface of system Certificate Inspector /liliDraft, update and improve the Quality Manual. /liliManage product certification (ATEX, PED, IECEX, etc. etc) /liliManage and drive audits for product certification /liliImplement corrective actions in case of non-conformity after inspector audits /liliWork with engineer departments (in site and in other Rotork sites) /liliOwner of certifications renewal /li /ulh3Qualifications Technical knowledge /h3h3Essential /h3ulliBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.



/lili2-3+ years of experience working within Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment. /liliPrevious experience working within an engineering or manufacturing business, with a good understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality processes. /liliStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset. /liliAbility to work collaboratively across functions while maintaining a proactive and solutions-focused approach. /liliFluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (C1 level). /li /ulh3Desirable /h3ulliInternal Auditor against ISO9001:2015 standard. /liliUnderstand modern manufacturing philosophies i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pOur purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations. /ppFor over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
