About the Position:
Serves within the Quality Management Department at U. S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy, supporting the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Deputy Director through the Quality Manager and designated staff. As a Health Systems Specialist, the MSSP acts as technical advisor to the Privileging Authority, Credentials Committee/Function Chairperson, and assigned providers on all matters related to the Credentialing and Privileging (CP) Program.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience,
including volunteer experience.

Specialized experience One-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal Service in acting as technical advisor to the Privileging Authority, Credentials Committee/Function Chairperson, and assigned providers on matters related to the Credentialing and Privileging (CP) Program. OR Substitution of education master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
