Job Description Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Uses knowledge of patient population in the determination of patient care.
Position Qualifications Education:



Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Experience: Minimum of o ne year of RN experience preferred proving initiative and sound judgment required for utilizing the entire nursing process and maintaining established guidelines of care by the policies and procedures of MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center.
Licensures/Certifications: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina
Additionally: Current BLS, NRP or STABLE required. If not certified in NRP or STABLE, must be obtained within 3 months.
Additional Job Description Minimum Requirements: Associate's Degree, and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
