The successful candidate will be responsible for the industrial controlling activities of a manufacturing plant located in Mexico. The position combines industrial controlling, monthly closing and group reporting responsibilities, working closely with the local management and the Group Finance organization. This position represents an excellent opportunity for a Finance/Controlling professional looking to start or accelerate an international career within a leading Italian Tier-1 Automotive Group.
The selected candidate will initially join the Group Headquarters for a 6–8 month training period, aimed at gaining a deep understanding of the company's industrial processes, controlling systems, reporting standards and finance procedures. Following this initial training,
the candidate will relocate to Mexico under a local Mexican employment contract. Over time, the role may evolve towards responsibility for the controlling activities of the wider Americas region, including Mexico, Brazil and the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the industrial controlling activities of the Mexican manufacturing plant
- Preparing and coordinating monthly financial closings and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Group
- Monitoring industrial costs, profitability, production performance and key operational KPIs
- Analysing actual results versus Budget, Forecast and previous periods, identifying variances and their key drivers
- Managing and analysing industrial costs by Bill of Materials (BOM / product structure), ensuring accurate monitoring of material costs, conversion costs and product profitability
