Neopharmed Gentili Spa , an Italian pharmaceutical company specialized in the commercialization of high-value therapeutic solutions and a major player in the national pharmaceutical market—currently undergoing significant international expansion is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist .
The resource will join the IT Department's Operations team and will be responsible for the following activities:
Managing, maintaining, and optimizing the on-premise (physical and virtual) and cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
Designing, implementing, and administering hybrid architectures, enabling integration between on-premise systems and cloud platforms.
Ensuring proper management of the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and firewall devices, and implementing perimeter security policies.
Defining, implementing, and testing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to guarantee the resilience of critical systems.

Contributing to the definition and optimization of IT infrastructure management processes and creating technical documentation.
Monitoring system performance, analyzing trends, and proposing innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or STEM disciplines.
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles (e.g., System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer).
Excellent command of the English language.
Strong hands-on experience with hybrid architectures, with direct expertise in both on-premise infrastructures and cloud platforms (particularly Microsoft Azure).
Virtualization: Excellent knowledge of VMware vSphere platforms.
Operating Systems: Solid experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
Networking: Advanced skills in managing complex networks, firewalling, and security (Cisco, Fortinet).
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with enterprise solutions such as Veeam or Commvault.
Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting language
