We are looking for a Scientific Data Management and Analysis Assistant to work in the IDATA Unit. Annual Salary: 28000€ - 34000€ esperienza 2 anni Essential requirements: Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level); Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics or related fields; At least 1 year of proven experience in evidence and data collection, management and analysis,
including developing and maintaining data processing pipelines; Advanced Python programming skills; Basic knowledge of version control systems, e.g. Git; Experience with structured / machine-readable data exchange formats such as XML or JSON; Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases; Experience in writing scientific and/or technical documents; Behavioural competencies: attention to details, work with others, focus on stakeholder needs, analysis and problem solving, work with ambiguity.
Desirable requirements: Experience with chemical or biological databases, software, tools and data formats (e.g. IUCLID, OECD Harmonised Templates); Experience using Databricks for data processing, transformation and analytics in a cloud-based data engineering environment; Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies (e.g. Power BI) and Azure Cloud services; Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension.
