ppERO SRL, a manufacturer of adhesive application and quality assurance systems, is offering employment for a bMechanical / Design Engineer /b to join the Engineering team at our facility in Montirone – Brescia, Italy. /p pThe Mechanical / Design Engineer will support the Engineering team across multiple functions, from the development of new designs to support our existing equipment, to improvements to existing designs to help reduce costs. Initially, the primary focus of the role will be migrating existing drawings from Inventor to SolidWorks. The Mechanical / Design Engineer will also work with the Engineering Team in quality investigations and other forms of process improvements. /p pFamiliarity with manufacturing processes is essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Experience and understanding of hydraulics are preferred. /p pNote: this is a fully in-person role based at the ERO office in Montirone. Candidates must be able to commute to the office every work day. /p h3Specific Responsibilities: /h3 ul liMigration of all drawings from Inventor to SolidWorks. /li liCreation of parts, assembly and detail drawings using SolidWorks. /li liCompletes all documentation supporting department requirements, such as Engineering Chance Notices, Part Number Requests, Engineering Bulletins, etc. /li liInteractions with vendors and machine shops. /li liInteractions with customers to resolve equipment-related support. /li liInvestigate and research new products and ideas by direction of supervisor. /li liCapability of setting up and conducting prototype testing.
