This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Curation Editor (Sports) based in Italy.

This role offers an opportunity to bring expert sports knowledge and human judgment to a fast-moving product data operation supporting a social-predictions platform. You will review and refine automatically generated sports prediction markets, ensuring they are accurate, clear, timely, and properly resolvable. The position combines sports expertise, editorial precision, live-event awareness, and structured decision-making under firm deadlines. You will evaluate markets across professional and collegiate sports while applying league-specific rules and settlement conventions. Beyond reviewing generated content, you will proactively identify gaps, monitor live events, and surface markets that automated systems may have missed. This is an ideal role for someone deeply engaged with current sports who can make precise, defensible decisions in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:





• Review daily queues of system-generated sports markets against defined completion deadlines, evaluating each market associated with an event.

• Assess candidate markets for factual accuracy, clarity, timing, and whether their resolution criteria can be reliably adjudicated using authoritative sources.

• Verify market opening and closing times against scheduled events, including adjustments for delays and other changes.

• Apply appropriate league-specific settlement conventions covering overtime, shootouts, postponements, abandonments, minimum-play requirements, and official statistical corrections.

• Review markets against applicable content policies and community standards, escalating ambiguous or sensitive cases when necessary.

• Approve, edit, or reject candidate markets and record structured, accurate reasons for every decision.
