The Team

Working within the Royal Hobart Hospital Pharmacy’s Compounding & Cancer Services unit, the Clinical Trials & Specialised Drugs team provide expert care to inpatients and outpatients of the RHH across haematology, oncology, paediatrics and other clinical areas.

The Role

Under supervision of the Team Leader – Compounding & Cancer Care Services and the Lead Pharmacist - Compounding & Cancer Care Services, develop and contribute to a safe and efficient compounding service to inpatients and outpatients of the Department of Health (DoH). Oversee the work of team members whose work includes the specialist areas of extemporaneous, aseptic and cytotoxic compounding, including undertaking training, professional supervision, and support regarding other pharmacy staff

You will need

• Experience in manufacture of complex parenteral or extemporaneous products and/or experience in clinical application of these products.

• Possession of, or working towards, a postgraduate qualification in relevant area.

• Current Driver’s Licence
