Visibily is a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) delivering 24/7 monitoring, threat intelligence, incident response and cyber risk management to organisations across sectors.

The role
This traineeship sits inside our threat intelligence team, which supports the monitoring and incident response services we deliver to clients. The work rests on sources and judgement: assessing how reliable information is, relating it to a client's actual exposure and separating what matters from noise. You will work alongside senior analysts on real engagements.

What you will do
• Track threat actors, campaigns and exploited vulnerabilities across open sources, feeds, forums and the dark web
• Profile threat actors (criminal, state-sponsored, hacktivist) and map their TTPs to MITRE ATT&CK;
• Collect, enrich and validate indicators of compromise and feed them into SIEM, EDR and TI platforms
• Monitor clients' external exposure: leaked credentials, look-alike domains, brand abuse
• Validate what our AI agents collect and correlate: sources, context, confidence




• Draft intelligence bulletins and client alerts stating sources and confidence levels

What we look for
• Understanding of the threat landscape and of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;, the Cyber Kill Chain and the Diamond Model
• Working knowledge of OSINT and source evaluation
• Basic technical fundamentals (networking, operating systems, log formats)
• Analytical rigour and clear writing
• Familiarity with MISP, OpenCTI, Maltego, Shodan, VirusTotal, Elastic or Python is a plus

• Location: Rome (Italy), on site
• Duration: 6 months, tempo pieno (40 h/week)
• Start: November 2026
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Languages: Italian and English (C1 or higher)
• Eligibility: Erasmus+ traineeship; EU/EEA residents or candidates who do not require a work visa
