About the Position: This is a Full time Seasonal 0328 Instructor JROTC (PO, NAVY) position for Sigonella Middle/High School, located in Sigonella Sicily, Italy.

To qualify, you must meet the experience/certification requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Minimum Education Requirement:



Petty Officer (PO) - Navy JROTC PO Instructors must hold a current certification to teach JROTC from United States Navy (USN) headquarters services department.AND Specialized Experience: Must meet one of the following pathways outlined in 10 USC 2031: Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps:
- A. Retired Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer whose qualifications are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment;
- B. Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer who are separated with an honorable discharge within the past 5 years with at least 8 years of service and are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment; or
- C. Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer who are active participating members of the selected reserve at the time of application, for purposes of section 101(d) of this title, and have not yet r
