We are looking for an Events Agent with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role to join our Commercial Team and support the planning, coordination, and execution of groups and events at our luxury hotel in Rome.

This role is key in ensuring that every event—from corporate meetings and conferences to social celebrations and group stays—is flawlessly organized from the initial enquiry through to its successful delivery. Working closely with clients and operational departments, you will ensure seamless communication, attention to detail, and an outstanding experience for every guest.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

- Managing events and group enquiries, preparing tailored proposals and following up to maximize conversion opportunities;
- Coordinating all operational aspects of confirmed events and group bookings, ensuring every detail is accurately planned and communicated;
- Preparing contracts, function sheets, and event documentation while managing deposits and payments in line with hotel procedures;
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, building strong relationships and ensuring their expectations are exceeded;
- Liaising closely with the Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen and other operational departments to guarantee flawless event execution;
- Organizing and leading internal function meetings to communicate all relevant event information to the operational teams;
- Monitoring event timelines, rooming lists, event setups, and special requests to ensure smooth operations;
- Identifying opportunities for upselling additional hotel services and enhancing the overall guest experience;
- Supporting the Commercial Team in achieving departmental revenue and quality objectives;
- Reporting to the Groups
