Primary Function Abbott Ambassador The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, managing and strengthening customer relationships, and improving account profitability.
Act as a trusted partner and advisor, serving as Abbott's primary point of contact for customers.
Manage and drive account development, including key activities such as strategic account management and post-sales implementation processes.
Identify opportunities for new product and menu expansion and support sales activities.
Prepare and conduct regular business reviews with customers.
Manage routine renewals of core business accounts and negotiate long-term contracts.
Support the implementation of new tests.
Provide ongoing customer training and coaching as required.
Oversee the progress of cross-functional implementation teams (post-sales) together with the Project Manager.
Success in this role is measured through business profitability, customer satisfaction score (NPS), contract renewal rate, and managed revenue.




Education and Required Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Biology, Pharmacy, or Business is preferred.
1 to 3 years of experience in the diagnostics industry, with a focus on managing and expanding existing accounts, strengthening customer relationships, and improving account profitability.
Proven success in a similar role, supported by management references and customer testimonials.
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers, including senior management and key stakeholders.
Strong product and industry knowledge.
Solid understanding of customer decision-making processes and stakeholder dynamics.
Long-term strategic account management mindset.
Fluency in the local language and English is required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
