Job Purpose/Role

Reporting to the Property Team Leader, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property & Liability risks into the Italian market. You will be the contact person for selected agents working with the Mid-Corporate team, supporting them in the business development. You will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets.Job Purpose/Role

You will be the contact person for selected agents working with the Mid-Corporate team, supporting them in the business development. You will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.




- Steer and control the portfolio at local level to drive the achievement of financial targets.
- Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
- Work closely with Sales departments, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
- Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
- Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products
- Support the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)
- Communicate local business strategy externally

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Master's degree in Engineering or Economics
