Legal Counsel, Italy, you will be a trusted legal partner to our business in Italy, providing practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of legal matters. Your primary focus will include healthcare tenders and public procurement, employment law, commercial agreements and general corporate legal support, while also contributing to matters across other European markets as business needs require.

This is a role with significant autonomy and ownership. Working independently and at a distance from your manager, you will be expected to take matters forward, exercise sound judgment and build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is comfortable constructively challenging the business when needed, can confidently explain legal risks and recommendations, and combines high-quality legal thinking with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.

What You'll Do




You will work closely with business leaders and colleagues across Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Brand, HR and Finance to enable business objectives while appropriately managing legal risk.
- Serve as a trusted legal partner to stakeholders in Italy and other European markets, providing pragmatic, timely and solution-oriented advice on commercial and operational matters.
- Provide legal support relating to healthcare tenders and public procurement regulations, applying your understanding of the life sciences environment to business needs.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial, consulting, service, confidentiality and other business agreements.
- Partner with the European HR organization on employment law matters, with a primary focus on Italy, including employment agreements, employee-related matters and cross-functional projects.
