Senior Housekeeping Supervisor

At IHG Hotels Malta, we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee all duties performed by our housekeeping staff. The senior housekeeping supervisor's responsibilities include assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff, identifying and reporting cases of tardiness, and monitoring cleaning supplies. You should also inform management of any equipment or furniture in need of repair or replacement and ensure that the housekeeping staff complies with all safety and sanitation policies.
Responsibilities:
Your role will consist of: - - Supervising and inspecting the assigned rooms and / or public area to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests - Inspecting panel rooms, caddies and other housekeeping tools and equipment. - Respond to special guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner, - Lead, train, support and supervise attendants and other team members to ensure their performance is to the standards required - Coordinate and assist with deep cleaning projects.

Skills and Experience: - - At least one to two years previous housekeeping supervisor experience preferably in a hotel of similar size - Excellent English communications skills both written and spoken - Preferably a High School Diploma related to Hospitality Management - Highly organized, time management skills with the ability to work under pressure - Able to work shift duties, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays - Past experience in leading and supporting a team We are inviting positive, self-assured and professional people with a real approachable manner to apply for this position.
