Job Description
Role Purpose
the Academic Mentor is a strategic figure serving as a bridge between student-athletes' sporting ambitions and their academic and personal development;
as a coordinator of holistic development, the Academic Mentor ensures that each student thrives both intellectually and emotionally, supporting their growth journey on all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Academic and personal support: guide students in their personal growth, integrating academic and athletic goals;
Mindset development: support the development of students'resilience, character, collaboration, and Human Skills;
Online learning support:
attend Saudi online lessons and assist students in their learning process;
Ongoing mentorship: provide one-to-one support to help students manage competitive pressure and academic challenges.
Requirements
Degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields
Experience working in educational settings with student-athletes
Understanding of competitive sports environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in Arabic and English (Italian is a plus)
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
