What functions will you perform? ID Energy Group is looking for a Business Development & M&A; Manager to join its growing Italian Team and play a key role in expanding renewable energy portfolio in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines a commercial mindset with strong analytical and deal-making skills. You will join a small local team based in Rome, while working closely with our colleagues in Hungary and Spain, reporting to the Head of Business Development Hungary, SEE & Italy.
Your main responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining relationships with developers, investors, advisors and other key market participants. Screening and evaluating renewable energy projects from commercial, financial and strategic perspectives. Local management of the M&A; processesin Italy, from initial opportunity/partner identification and valuation through due diligence, negotiation and closing.
Coordinating technical, legal, financial and commercial due diligence processes with internal teams. Manage the commercial negotiationswith project developers,
partners and other counterparties. Monitoring the Italian renewable energy market, including regulatory developments, market trends and competitive dynamics. Collaborating closely with our Hungarian and Spanish teams, sharing market insights, expertise and best practices across the organization.
Representing the company in meetings with external stakeholders and contributing to the development of our position and network in the Italian market. Active involvement in other business initiatives, projects and ad-hoc tasks supporting the company's growth and development in Italy.
Your profile
Ideally, you have: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A;, business development in renewable energy sector in similar role.
