AI Intern
Pubblicato il 02-10-2026 - Circeus in Milano
Circeus is an AI-native holding company that acquires and evolves mission-critical software for the AI era. Through a centralised AI platform deployed across our portfolio, we expand software from systems of record into systems of action.
We have raised $220m+ from leading global institutional investors and serve 250,000+ businesses worldwide, focusing on high-retention, deeply embedded software that powers the everyday economy.
We operate as long-term owners, bringing the benefits of innovation and AI to the real economy.
The Role
This is a hands-on internship in our Milan office, starting in November or December 2026, building AI that people across Circeus and its portfolio companies use every day. You sit inside a live team, take a real problem, and ship a working solution rather than a slide about one.
Day to day, you will prototype with large language models, build agents and automations that replace manual process, and help move portfolio products from systems of record into systems of action through our central AI platform. The work is measured by adoption:
a workflow someone relies on, a step that no longer needs a person, a decision made faster and better.
You will work directly with our AI team, engineers and operators across London, Milan and Sarajevo, and present what you build to the people who decide whether it scales. Strong interns are the first people we look to when the team grows.
It suits someone who already builds with AI because they want to, who would rather ship something small that works than plan something large, and who wants to see how AI changes real businesses rather than demos.
What You'll Do
- Prototype and ship AI tools and agents with large language models, taking them from first version to something a team depends on
- Build automations that replace manual process inside Circeus and its portfolio companies, and measure the time and errors they remove
- Help extend portfolio products from systems of record into systems of a
