CM MetalMarket connects industrial buyers with a network of 50+ certified Indian precision manufacturers (CNC machining, casting, forging, sheet metal, injection moulding — IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 9001). Our differentiator is the casting + machining + finishing bundle from a single source — exactly the niche the large platforms avoid.
We grow through personal, technically grounded relationships with Italian metalworking SMEs across the mechanical districts of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto — not through anonymous portals. For that, we're looking for an experienced sales engineer who speaks the language of both the design office and purchasing.
Your role
- Acquisition & account management of Italian mid-market clients (owner-operated machine builders, subcontractors and automotive / industrial suppliers)
- RFQ qualification: read drawings, assess tolerances,



materials and feasibility — and judge which parts are suited to Indian manufacturing and which are not
- Technical translation between customer requirement and supplier capability (cast housings → milling → plating / powder coating, bent / brazed tubing, sheet-metal assemblies, special alloys)
- Prototype-to-series support: first-article inspection, customer sign-off, transition into serial production
- Negotiation & relationship building for long-term framework agreements

Your profile
- Several years of experience as a sales engineer / project manager in metalworking, plant or machine engineering
- Solid technical grasp of machining, casting, forming and surface finishing — you can look at a part and see where the manufacturing limits are
- Experience in New Product Introduction / prototype-to-series transition is a plus
- An existing network in the Italian metalworking sector, or a proven ability to win B2B clients independently
- Self-directed, entrepre
