We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Junior Sales / Junior Business Development to support the growth of our business in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities, supporting the acquisition of new clients and contributing to the expansion of YouGov's presence across the Italian market. Working as part of a fast-growing, agile and international organization, you will combine strong sales skills with a consultative approach, helping clients understand how data, research and consumer insights can support better business decisions.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do:
New Client Acquisition
- Identify and engage prospective clients across the Italian market.
- Support and manage the sales cycle from prospecting through proposal development and contract closure.
- Contribute to achieving new business and revenue targets.





Pipeline & Commercial Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and reporting through Salesforce.
- Support forecasting and commercial planning processes.
- Share market feedback and client insights with internal teams.

Consultative Selling
- Understand client business challenges and objectives.
- Match client needs with relevant YouGov research, data and insight solutions.
- Support the development of proposals and commercial recommendations.
- Present solutions confidently to client stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with prospects and clients.

Industry Engagement & Brand Representation
- Participate in industry events, conferences, webinars and networking initiatives.
- Support presentations, workshops and client meetings.

Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Research, Client Services, Operations and Product teams.
- Support a smooth transition from sales to project deliv
