We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused High Voltage (HV) Technician to join the team at MacIntyre Wind Farm, one of Australia’s largest renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Works Supervisor,



this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the operation and maintenance of critical renewable energy infrastructure while supporting Australia’s transition to a sustainable energy future.
Job Description
The HV Technician is responsible for undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance across the wind farm’s Balance of Plant (BOP) infrastructure, including substations, high-voltage reticulation, communication networks, auxiliary systems, site services, roads, and civil infrastructure. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities across BOP assets.
- Conduct HV and substation inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing.
- Carry out HV switching operations and system manoeuvres.
- Support inspections, maintenance, and repair of roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure.
