Overview
As aSenior Mechanical Designer, you will lead the development of multi-axis automated machines, focusing on precise kinematics, drive sizing, and seamless mechatronic integration. You will collaborate closely with Electrical and Automation teams to define integrated systems that couple mechanics, sensors, wiring, and actuators. You will contribute to feasibility studies, industrialization-ready designs, and subsystems standardization, delivering robust, manufacturable solutions. This role offers hands-on impact in advancing ICAM products within a cross-functional R&D; setting.
Responsabilità
- Define and design kinematic systems and motion control for multi-axis machines
- Size motors, gearboxes and transmissions with input from the electrical team
- Contribute to feasibility studies and architectural decisions for machines
- Develop mechanical solutions with strong mechatronic integration (actuators, sensors, wiring) for manufacturability
- Collaborate on standardization of ICAM products and creation of configurators
- Prototype, test, and validate developed solutions
- Support design guidelines and subsystem standardization
- Liaise with suppliers and technical partners regarding components and specialized solutions
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Mechatronics
- At least 7 years of experience in design of automated machines and mechatronic systems
- Ability to collaborate across mechanical–electrical–automation disciplines
- Knowledge of project management is a plus
- Organizational and problem-solving skills

- Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD (Solid Edge) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD)
