R: Industrialization Engineer

Overview

In this role you will industrialize maintenance, renovation and warranty activities to ensure deliverables. You will develop and validate industrial documentation and layouts, train teams on industrial topics, and verify solutions on site. You’ll ensure safety, quality and compliance while adapting processes to project changes. This position supports Alstom’s global mobility solutions and requires collaboration across sites and functions.

Responsabilità

- Lead industrialization of technical documentation aligned with standard manufacturing processes and line guidelines
- Develop macro-process, work instructions, BOM, task sequences and layouts
- Specify inputs for industrial tools and means for project execution
- Define and implement training plans for industrial topics and special processes
- Validate deliverables on the field with maintenance execution (FAT)
- Adhere to industrial planning milestones (IMFU)
- Establish asbestos abatement, stripping, parts retention and hidden damage processes
- Support APSYS-related industrial roadmap topics
- Ensure Railway Safety and EHS, AZDP standards are respected
- Introduce industrial process improvements focused on efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics,



EHS and continuous improvement
- Adapt processes to lifecycle events (design changes, obsolescence, maintenance plan optimization, fleet extension, operating mode changes)
- Contribute to Control Change Board reviews to reduce non-quality and improve safety and performance

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in Engineering
- 2–5 years’ experience, preferably in railway industry and international environment
- Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
- Experience in Methods Engineering, writing/improving work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
- Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) for BOMs, routings, configuration follow-up
- Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards
- Proven ability to innovate and manage change
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Willingness to travel ~50%
