Responsibilities
- Deliver Expert Application Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including demonstrations, customer trainings, and workflow optimization in customer sites and virtually.
- Plan and Execute Workshops: Organize and lead customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows.
- Support Marketing Initiatives: Contribute scientific content for webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials.
- Develop Application Data: Create application data, success stories, and reference workflows to support commercial efforts.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate documentation of customer activities, demos, and trainings within CRM systems.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree: Possess an MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Materials Science,
or related field.
- Electron Microscopy Experience: Have hands-on experience with electron microscopy sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM workflows, CLEM workflows, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture). Experience with light microscopy workflows is advantageous.
- Travel Readiness: Be willing and able to travel frequently across EMEA.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English (technical and conversational); additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Remote Role: Position is remote with regular travel (40-50%) across EMEA.
- Base Location: Ideally based near Milan, Italy due to customer concentration and international connectivity.
- Reporting Structure: Reports to EMEA Business Development leadership and is part of EMEA Business Development Team, Sample Preparation (SU).
Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected gross annual salary range €49,000 – €63,000 based experience and skills.
- Premio Potential: Eligible for bonus / incentive pay, targeting 20% of base annual salary.
