Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural analysis, design verification, and qualification activities for advanced space systems.

The role involves taking technical ownership of structural engineering activities, supporting key design decisions, and ensuring structural integrity throughout the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex structural challenges, optimise designs, and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project requirements.

What we are looking for:

- 5–8+ years of experience in structural analysis within the space or aerospace sector.
- Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, structural dynamics,



and finite element methods.
- Proven experience with FEM software such as Femap with Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, validate, and correlate FEMs against experimental test results.
- Experience supporting environmental qualification campaigns, particularly vibration and shock testing.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with professional proficiency in English.
