Software Engineer & Platform Engineer FREELANCE/PIVA

? CARATTERISTICHE

- Requirements discovery and solution design: working with departments to identify the real requirements, not just the stated ones.
- Relational data modelling and database evolution: designing durable schemas and safely evolving them on live systems.
- Hands-on PHP 8.2, SQL and vanilla JavaScript development, without framework dependency.
- Automated testing and release management across multiple tenant installations.
- Linux, Apache and MySQL operations: running the platform independently.
- Security, permissions and data protection: sound judgement on sensitive and personal data.
- Integrations with Microsoft 365/Azure AD and SAP HANA.
- Turn ambiguous business requirements into clear technical designs and durable data models.
- Work directly and credibly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of a solution from the first conversation through to production.
- Work effectively across PHP,

SQL and JavaScript without depending on a particular framework.
- Make safe changes to live databases and production systems.
- Critically direct and review AI-assisted development.
- Exercise sound judgement around sensitive and personal data.
- Work independently and communicate clearly in professional English.

? Who this role suits An experienced individual contributor who likes understanding how a business actually works, enjoys solving ambiguous problems and wants substantial ownership — not a queue of tickets to execute. It is less suited to someone looking for a specialist front-end role, a framework-led PHP environment, or a move into engineering-team management.
