We are looking for anAccounting Intern (6 months full-time)tosupport the accounting team in AP activities and month-end closing process forthe legal entities of the Galileo Group across Europe. You'll be based in Milan(withthe possibility of hybrid remote working), reporting to the Accounting Manager.
What you'll do:
- Support the management of purchase requests and the creation of purchaseorders.
- Assist in matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and/or collectingthe required approvals.
- Support the Accounts Payable team in day-to-day administrative andaccounting activities.
- Help analyse payment due dates and support the payment run process.




- Assist in checking the consistency of data between the Procure-to-Paysystem and the accounting system.
- Support the preparation of documents and data needed for the monthlyclosing process.
- Interact with external accounting service providers and internalstakeholders to support smooth finance operations.
- Maintain accurate records and help ensure properfiling of accounting documentation.

Requirements
What you'll need:
- High school diplomain Accounting and/or a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, orrelated subjects, or currently studying in one of these fields.
- A previousfirst internship or short experience in finance, accounting, or administration willbe considered a plus.
- At leastintermediate knowledge of the English language (especially written).
- Goodknowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Strongattention to detail and willingness to learn.
