Hill International is hiring for a Project and Construction Manager for our main office in Rome, Italy.

As Construction Manager, you will ensure projects adhere to client requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project cost and timelines. Your responsibilities will span all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
ResponsibilitiesAs Project and Construction Manager, your role involves the day-to-day management of on-site construction and handover activities. You will work to administer project construction contracts, coordinate the efforts of contractors, handle permitting, and deal with utility agencies, as well as inspecting authorities.
It will be your responsibility to follow up on all contracted deliverables and ensure quality assurance of the work performed by contractors. Additionally, you will enforce the application of appropriate technical standards throughout the project and oversee contractors' scheduling, conducting, and documentation of construction meetings, including progress meetings, safety meetings, and inspections, while also distributing the minutes of these meetings. xbvzest Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the application and approval process for permits and approvals required for the project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of construction management experience
- An excellent level of English is mandatory
- Proven construction management experience in the hotel/hospitality or retail sector
- The ability to work in Power BI to produce project reporting with dashboards will be considered a plus
