In your role as a Waiter/Waitress, you'll discuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department's goals and priorities. You'll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.
How You Do It
- You'll have a great understanding of our restaurant policies and standards of performance, following them at all times, especially those of the restaurant floor.
- You'll make sure we're applying our brand standards at every shift. You are flexible with morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
- You're responsible for managing your section to the highest standards, communicating where needed about lapses in quality.
- You're up to date and knowledgeable about all our food, drink and amenities.
- You're responsible for the correct handling and payment of guest's bills according to our procedures. You'll also be accountable for all personal cash floats, if any, and for all additional payments to such floats. You'll complete all cash receipts and reconciliation after each meal period or day and you'll report any cash discrepancy to management right away.
