Overview

Orrick is growing and looking for someone who lives and breathes the tech and AI world to join our Business Development team. If you've worked at a startup, a B2B software company, or an accelerator, and you know the AI ecosystem inside out, we want to hear from you.

You will help the BD team find and develop growth opportunities, with a strong focus on the AI and technology sector. This role is for someone who doesn't just use AI tools but understands how the AI landscape works: the key players, the trends, and where it's heading.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

- Find and qualify new business opportunities across the AI and tech ecosystem through market analysis and client profiling
- Research potential partners, prepare meeting briefs, and keep partner and client relationships moving alongside the firm's partners
- Pull, clean, and analyze data from internal and external databases, and use dashboards to track business initiatives and support strategic decisions
- Help prepare pitches, presentations, marketing materials, and legal submissions,



and keep the deal and client database up to date
- Write content on AI and tech for LinkedIn, newsletters, and press releases, working with the internal Creative Team
- Help organize events and internal communication initiatives

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or growth roles at tech or AI startups, B2B software companies, or accelerators
- Real knowledge of the AI and technology ecosystem, not just familiarity with the tools
- STEM background and/or a strong interest in data analytics and AI applied to business
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage several projects and relationships at once while meeting deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
- Data visualization skills (Power BI, advanced Excel) are a plus
