Department : Administration For our Studio in Milan, we are looking for a BIM Architect to join our team in Milano.
The Role The BIM Specialist will join the Department of Architecture and will work in close relationship with architects and interior designers in Milan as well as in Munich. He/she will join a team of 2 people.
Main Responsibilities and Duties The BIM Specialist will actively support Project Managers (internal architects) and external consultants concerning BIM activities.
In general, he/she will:
- Be responsible for the creation of an ArchiCAD new template;
- Supervise the BIM Execution plans;
- Be a point of reference for internal architects concerning drawings and models.
The Successful Candidate The successful candidate will have a degree in Architecture and will have at least 2 years of experience as BIM Specialist. A Master in BIM Management is desirable.
He/she will be fluent in Italian and English and will be able to use the main IT tools such as Mac OS, Adobe Suite and in particular:
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (knowledge of Revit desirable)
- Grasshopper
- Clash Detection Software
- Rhinoceros
He/she will demonstrate excellent problem solving skills as well as high attention to details. In addition, he/she will be able to prioritise, multitask and embrace chance quickly in order to be aligned with the design needs.
