Overview
As Area Manager, you will drive commercial performance across Polestar Spaces and retail partners in Italy from Milan, with regular travel. You'll coach Space Specialists and frontline teams to deliver a premium customer journey and achieve sales targets. You will bridge market strategy with daily execution, analyzing metrics and implementing action plans to boost conversion and customer satisfaction.
This role puts you at the center of cross-functional collaboration to scale Polestar's premium mobility vision in Italy. You'll shape retail performance in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Responsabilità
- Drive retail performance and operational excellence across the assigned area
- Analyze sales metrics, pipeline health and KPIs to improve conversion
- Identify opportunities and implement action plans to close performance gaps
- Coach and train Space Specialists and retail staff on Polestar processes and customer journey standards
- Conduct regular partner visits to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Prepare structured visit reports with observations and recommendations
- Monitor stock management, pre-owned activities, and trade-in performance
- Oversee test drive management and ensure effective sales process execution
- Support retail partners in meeting sales targets while maintaining premium experience
- Address customer issues and escalations promptly
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations and other stakeholders to support objectives
- Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to Management
- Support sales initiatives beyond the assigned area when needed
Requisiti fondamentali
- University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive sales experience
- Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer experience management
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, with interest in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actions
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel regularly across the assigned area
