Required Technical Skills: The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support;
- Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment;
- Good working knowledge of Database Management;
- Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
- High school diploma The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
- At least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server, SQL
Server databases and .NET applications.
- Good working knowledge of MySQL, RedHat Linux server, and Drupal applications
- Good working knowledge of global Active Directory Architecture, AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with United Nations policy framework for International Public Sector
Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or compliant operational concepts and processes
- Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable
Desirable certifications:
- Certifications and advanced training in Microsoft technologies
- Certification and familiarity with ITIL concepts and processes
Teleworking Option:
Yes, up to 1 day per week.
On-call requirements:
One week per month (rotation is subject to the number of team members)
