Key Responsibilities
- Maintain expert level of assigned products’ knowledge and application.
- Provide technical expertise in support of improvements to existing product designs and/or propose new products’ concepts for further development by engineering.
- Provide engineering support to the process of modification of existing products to meet customer requirements, while retaining product function and quality.
- Act as a technical liaison between Field Service organization,



Engineering and Operations influencing and persuading internal and external customers, with a proactive and can-do attitude, about the effectiveness of the new design solution proposed.
- Assist in resolving design related non conformities, ensuring quality processes are rigorously followed through Eight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D) and remedial actions are implemented by the CoE.
- Identify and propose solutions to escalated any technical or project related risks.
- Achieve expected quality standards and delivery time of service products in accordance with contractual obligations and Cavotec standards.
- Troubleshoot problems and attempt to identify causes for warranty problems in order to prevent and eradicate repeat occurrences.
- Cooperate with Field Service organization, Engineering and Sales departments to resolve matters regarding the warranty of sold products/solutions.
