?The Opportunity
As a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer – SRE I, you will support the continuity, stability, and reliability of production services.
You will handle first-level monitoring, troubleshooting, operational support, and application deployments with growing autonomy, involving senior colleagues when dealing with more complex issues.
You will work closely with developers, senior SREs, and Operations teams on Azure-based data platforms.
?Responsibilities
On-call availability is required.
• Provide first-level technical support for Azure Synapse, SQL Pool, Data Pipeline Ingestion, Data Fabric, and Azure Functions.
• Monitor Azure-based systems and applications by analysing logs, metrics, alerts, and service behaviour to identify anomalies, degradation, and recurring issues.
• Support troubleshooting and incident resolution activities, involving senior team members when needed.
• Support applications running on OpenShift through basic operational activities and troubleshooting.
