For an important project in the Oil & Gas sector, we are looking for a Process Flow Assurance Engineer to join the PMC team in Milan.
The role will be responsible for providing technical oversight, verification and assurance of flow assurance activities related to offshore wellhead platforms (WHPs) and subsea production systems, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient transportation of hydrocarbons across subsea and topside systems.

Work location: Milan, Italy

Main responsibilities:
• Act as PMC focal point for flow assurance design and verification activities across FEED, EPC and commissioning phases.
• Review and technically verify steady-state and transient flow assurance studies performed by EPC contractors.
• Assess production system performance,



pressure-temperature envelopes and flow regime predictions.
• Review pipeline and riser sizing, insulation and heating system design.
• Evaluate hydrate, wax, asphaltene, corrosion and erosion risks and related mitigation strategies.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs; and process control logic, ensuring proper flow assurance integration.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, PSSR, Model Reviews, FAT and SAT activities.
• Review operational strategies for start-up, shutdown, pigging, depressurization and chemical injection.
• Evaluate chemical injection philosophies, including MEG, methanol and corrosion inhibitors.
• Support interfaces between subsea, pipeline and topside engineering disciplines.
• Monitor EPC contractor progress and compliance with project specifications, quality, HSE and schedule requirements.
• Support risk assessment and mitigation of flow assurance-related production issues.
