Sales Engineer - Italy
Location: Milan area or Paris
DEIF is a Danish global leader in intelligent power management solutions for generators, hybrid systems, microgrids, renewables, and energy storage.
We design advanced control technologies that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power across all energy sources.
As our business with genset manufacturers and industrial integrators continues to grow in Italy, we are expanding our commercial presence in partnership with STAER, our long-standing Italian distributor.
We are now looking for a Sales Engineer to support and accelerate our growth in the Italian genset market.
The Job:
HUNTER PROFILE
Your mission will be to drive DEIF's commercial development in Italy especially within genset OEMS, packagers, and industrial system integrators.
You will build strong customer relationships, promote DEIF solutions, and support customers in selecting and deploying our control systems.
This position reports operationally to STAER and closely with Business Development Manager of OEM Market.
Regular travel in Italy is expected
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
* Grow DEIF's presence among genset manufacturers and industrial integrators.
* Conduct prospecting visits, follow-ups, and long-term relationship building.
* Identify customer requirements and position DEIF solutions accordingly.
* Support commercial discussions, negotiate proposals, and help secure orders.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
Market Insight & Strategy
* Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and technology trends.
* Help define and execute a growth strategy for the Italian genset segment.
* Coordinate with DEIF teams in France, Denmark, and the Mediterranean region to align priorities.
Your Profile
* HUNTER MENTALITY
* Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or relevant technical background.
* Experience in sales, technical sales, or application engineering
