Sibylla Biotech is seeking an outstanding, highly motivated senior project manager with experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry in oncology to join its multidisciplinary team in Bresso (MI), Italy. Sibylla is the exclusive licensee of an innovative technology named Pharmacological Protein Inactivation by Folding Intermediate Targeting (PPI-FIT), which enables the identification of small molecules that promote the degradation of a target protein by interfering with its folding pathway. This new technology paves the way for selective degradation of previously undruggable proteins. Our computational platform enables the characterization of previously unexplored protein conformations (folding intermediates) that can be exploited as new drug targets. The company has an oncology pipeline, and its lead asset is approaching candidate nomination.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our development programs, from early preclinical stages through clinical development and regulatory filing.
Reporting to the COO and working closely with the leadership team and cross-functional teams, you will turn scientific strategy into integrated project plans and keep our assets moving toward their milestones on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrated project plans covering activities, resources, timelines, and costs for each asset.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver key milestones.
- Monitor progress, proactively identify risks related to timing, resources, and funding, and propose mitigation plans together with senior management
- Support the development and tracking of project budgets in collaboration with Finance.
- Organize and lead project meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on actions.
- Produce periodic progress reports for senior management and maintain official project documentation.
- Support teams in preparing regulatory documentation and submissions.
