Position: Country Representative – Roster Various Countries Reporting Relationship: Head of Regional Unit Location: to be defined according to needs Deadline: 21/10/2026 Starting date: according to program needs ROSTER We World opened this Roster for Country Representatives with strong experience in both development and emergency settings and interested for short notice, short terms deployments in countries where We World would experience unexpected gaps. Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview and selected candidates will become part of We World roster list of professionals who will be contacted when needed. Being part of the list does not guarantee any immediate of future collaborations with We World. Inclusion on the roster list will be active for the ongoing year and can be renewed upon mutual agreement between We World and the roster list members.
Job description
The Country Representative is based in the country for which he/she is the legal representative and head of mission of the organization. He/she reports to the Head of Regional Unit.



MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and accountability for We World's country programme. Represent We World with donors, government authorities, UN agencies, partners, and other key stakeholders. Lead the development and implementation of the country strategy and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Drive partnership development, fundraising, and resource mobilization efforts. Ensure the quality, relevance, impact, and compliance of all programmes and projects. Oversee the security, safety, and operational management of the country office. Lead, supervise, and support expatriate, national staff, and volunteers, promoting a positive and high-performing work environment. Ensure sound financial management, internal controls, and compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
