- Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines in GCP
- Apply data-driven analysis to understand business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address data systems requirements
- Participate in project planning, milestones, and resource estimation
- Track activities and ensure task execution
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
- 5-10 years of data engineering experience
- Proficiency in Scala/Java/Python
- Advanced SQL skills with BigQuery preference
- Knowledge of Google Cloud services: Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion
- Experience with workflow management
- Understanding of GCP batch and streaming architectures
- Strong data modeling and ELT-focused data pipelines
- Data migration and Data Warehouse experience
- Familiarity with developer tools and CI/CD
- Excellent communication and user-focused approach
- Empathetic with end users and internal customers
- Scala/Java/Python software engineering
- BigQuery and advanced SQL
- Workflow management
