Imagine defining and developing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies that enhance our core processes, from winding to final assembly. You will evaluate automation concepts and prepare CapEx investments, all while fostering cross-site technology standardization. Your expertise will not only modernize transformer production but also support our broader Cluster MPT Industrial Engineering strategy, making a significant impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Define and enhance manufacturing technologies for key processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Evaluate technology concepts to improve productivity and process robustness while promoting cross-site standardization.
- Drive technology transfer and share best practices between the Venice site and the wider Cluster MPT network.
- Identify equipment and automation needs,
translating them into technical specifications for the CapEx portfolio.
- Support RFI/RFQ activities and collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering stakeholders to select the best suppliers.
What You Bring
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of professional experience in manufacturing technology, production engineering, or equipment engineering, preferably in transformer manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English; German language skills are a plus.
- Drive innovation and business value by quickly understanding complex technologies, evaluating investment opportunities through economic and financial analysis, and applying sound project management practices to deliver results.
