Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type Regular Cost Center CC003609 FLO - OR - Main Surgery (FMC) Pay Rate Type Salary Pay Grade Health-34 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Job Description In collaboration with the surgical team, and under the supervision of the Chief Perfusionist/Director of Surgical Services, the perfusionist is primarily concerned with coordinating and participating in the management, set up and operation of heart/lung machines and other ancillary equipment used in open heart and other cardiovascular procedures.

Accruals Free Telehealth Visits for Care Team Member and family Onsite Pharmacy Education Assistance Additional Job Description Bachelor of Science degree in Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
Three to five years of clinical experience to include pediatrics experience preferred. Call, transport required. Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required.

Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required.
