Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you own the integrity of our financial records and help build the accounting backbone that enables Hilo to scale internationally.
You will own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close across multiple legal entities, Group consolidation, VAT and financial compliance, and the supervision of day-to-day accounting activities. This is a hands‑on role where you will both oversee accounting processes and external providers and investigate complex accounting issues,



reconciliations and transactions yourself.
You will also help make Finance more scalable by using automation and AI to reduce repetitive work, strengthen controls and move towards exception‑based accounting processes.
You report to the VP Finance and work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Growth and People, as well as external accountants, tax advisors and auditors across several jurisdictions.
Core Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Close
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process across the Group
- Coordinate accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring consistent practices and timely reporting
- Supervise the day-to-day accounting activities of a two‑person team, covering revenue, COGS, inventory, payroll, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and general ledger accounting
- Review journal entries,
