ph3Job Description /h3 pWe are looking for a motivated bAI Software Engineer Intern /b to join our team and contribute to Artificial Intelligence projects supporting our engineering and RD activities. You will work alongside experienced software and AI engineers on real-world applications involving Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and enterprise software development. This position is intended for a student with good programming fundamentals who wants to develop practical experience in AI software engineering. Rather than focusing only on theoretical AI or Machine Learning, you will learn how modern AI capabilities can be integrated into actual software applications and used to solve engineering and business problems. We do not expect a student to already be an AI expert. We are primarily looking for someone with solid programming foundations, technical curiosity and a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate enjoys building and understanding software, is willing to experiment and learn, and is interested in discovering how Generative AI can be used in real engineering applications. The position will provide practical experience across different aspects of AI software development, from initial experimentation and prototyping to integration with existing applications and enterprise data. Over time, the successful candidate will be encouraged to become increasingly autonomous and take responsibility for more complex AI development tasks. /p h3How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn /h3 h3Contribute to AI Application Development /h3 ul liParticipate in the development of applications and services leveraging Large Language Models and Generative AI. /li liBuild prototypes to explore and validate new AI use cases. /li liExperiment with different models and prompting approaches. /li liIntegrate AI models into applications using APIs and SDKs. /li liContribute to solutions using internal documents and enterprise data. /li liParticipate in the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. /li liHelp test and improve existing AI applications. /li /ul h3Develop Software /h3 ul liDevelop scripts and application components primarily using Python and/or C#/.NET. /li liContribute to backend services and APIs. /li liWork with databases and other data sources when required by the project. /li liLearn how AI capabilities are integrated into existing enterprise applications. /li liWrite understandable,
maintainable and documented code. /li liInvestigate technical issues with support from experienced engineers. /li /ul h3Learn and Experiment with Generative AI /h3 ul liGain practical experience with Microsoft Azure AI services and Azure AI Foundry. /li liLearn how Large Language Models work from an application developer's perspective. /li liDevelop an understanding of concepts such as prompts, tokens, context windows, embeddings and vector search. /li liExperiment with RAG and other approaches for providing enterprise knowledge to AI models. /li liCompare different AI models and approaches. /li liLearn to consider quality, reliability, latency and cost when using AI services. /li liExplore emerging AI technologies and evaluate their potential for practical use cases. /li /ul h3Collaborate with the Team /h3 ul liWork with experienced software engineers and technical experts. /li liParticipate in technical discussions and project activities. /li liDocument experiments, technical findings and developed solutions. /li liPresent results and explain technical choices clearly. /li liShare ideas and contribute to the exploration of new AI use cases. /li liGradually take ownership of development tasks as your skills and experience grow. /li /ul h3Key Skills And Experience /h3 h3You have /h3 ul liCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,Artificial Intelligence or a related technical field. /li liGood programming fundamentals. /li liPractical programming experience with Python, C#, Java or another modern programming language, acquired through university projects, personal projects, internships or professional experience. /li liBasic understanding of software development concepts. /li liInterest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and Large Language Models. /li liBasic understanding of APIs and how software applications communicate with external services. /li liAbility to investigate technical problems and learn independently.
