Join us, and together, we'll transform our industry, making a lasting difference for brighter lives and a better world. /p h3More About The Role /h3 pThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a bSystem Engineer /b in bItaly /b with Signify. /p h3What You Will Be Doing /h3 h3Bring Systems to Life /h3 ul liSupport the activation and commissioning of systems — from powering up to fine-tuning performance. /li liCarry out on-site checks to verify functionality and ensure everything runs as intended. /li liCollaborate with project teams to make sure systems are handed over in full working order. /li liDiagnose and resolve issues during commissioning to ensure a clean and reliable launch. /li /ul h3Capture the Story /h3 ul liDocument commissioning results and service actions in digital forms, checklists, or reports. /li liMaintain clear records of system configurations, updates, and issue history.



/li liContribute insights from the field or remote platforms to help improve system reliability and user experience. /li /ul h3Monitor, Manage, and Maintain /h3 ul liUse remote tools and platforms to track system status, performance, and alerts across multiple sites. /li liAnalyze data logs and dashboards to detect early signs of malfunction or deviation. /li liCoordinate on-site interventions only when necessary, based on remote diagnostics. /li liSchedule or trigger preventive tasks and firmware updates from a central interface. /li /ul h3Be the On-Site (and Remote) Expert /h3 ul liRepresent the technical side of the project both on-site during commissioning and remotely during operation. /li liProvide guidance to field teams or clients using clear, actionable communication. /li liStay alert to system behavior and always prioritize safety, uptime, and performance. /li /ul h3More About You /h3 h3Technical Background /h3 ul liEducational foundation in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related vocational or technical field. /li liUnderstanding of basic control systems, signal types (digital/analog), and low-voltage electrical installations. /li liAble to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. /li /ul h3Hands-on Experience /h3 ul liExperience with wiring, commissioning, or troubleshooting of field devices.



/li liAbility to connect and configure field components according to wiring diagrams or project plans. /li liExposure to communication protocols like DALI, Modbus, 0–10V, KNX, BACnet, or similar (even at a basic level). /li liCapable of performing functional tests, checking inputs/outputs, and verifying system behavior. /li /ul h3Soft Skills Personal Traits /h3 ul liStrong problem-solving mindset – methodical and calm when diagnosing issues. /li liA safety-first attitude and awareness of standard electrical and site protocols. /li liGood communication skills – able to interact with team members, clients, and supervisors professionally. /li liFlexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic field environments, sometimes under time pressure. /li liWillingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies relevant to the role. /li liSelf-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. /li /ul h3Other Requirements /h3 ul liFLUENT in Italian and good English skills. /li liValid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites. /li liAvailability for occasional evening or weekend work, especially during commissioning phases. /li /ul h3Everything we'll do for you /h3 pYou can grow a lasting career here.
