ph3What you'll do /h3 ul liCollaborate proactively with a distributed team /li liWrite high-quality code to create new features, fix bugs and modernize the Landscape codebase /li liDemonstrate your strong commitment to code quality and automated testing /li liParticipate in the engineering process with code and architectural reviews /li liTake personal ownership of problems and design and deliver solutions /li liWork remotely with global travel 2 to 4 weeks for internal and external events /li liAssist with release management during each development cycle /li liCollaborate with devops for Landscape SaaS, Canonical's hosted Landscape /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 ul liYou love technology and working with brilliant people /li liYou are curious, flexible, articulate, and accountable /li liYou value soft skills and are passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self?motivated /li liYou have a Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree /li liYou have proficiency developing public?facing APIs and web applications, preferably using Python. /li liExperience with Python and web frameworks such as Flask and Django. /li liExperience with databases, and ORMs (PostgreSQL a plus) /li liYou are comfortable with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
